Men’s Sexual Performance Patch Earns FDA Clearance

Maple Grove-based Morari will soon begin a phased commercial rollout of its product to delay ejaculation in men.

Five years in the making, Maple Grove-based Morari Inc.’s sex tech product designed to delay ejaculation in men has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

“It took longer than expected, but I guess it fits with our mission in making things take longer!” said Morari founder and CEO Jeff Bennett.

Morari’s flagship product, MOR, is an app-controlled skin patch that sends signals to the nerves that delay and intensify ejaculation. Bennett describes MOR as a first-of-its-kind drug-free solution to sexual dysfunction in men.

With FDA clearance—510K class II for over-the-counter use—Morari will soon begin a pilot launch of MOR, before rolling it out to select regions, starting with the Minneapolis market.

“FDA clearance marks a pivotal milestone not just for Morari but for millions of men and their partners who seek an alternative solution to delay ejaculation and improve their sexual health,” Bennett said Thursday in a statement.

This week’s milestone marks the beginning of MOR’s path to commercialization, but the company has been making headlines since 2020 when Bennett took his first prototype to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). A return appearance in 2022 caught the attention of Jimmy Kimmel who mocked the product, and Bennett, in his opening monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live! To Bennett, it was publicity he couldn’t have paid for at the time. The segment drove traffic to Morari’s website.

Morari has raised $3.2 million to date through preferred equity.

Morari CEO Jeff Bennett at TCB’s StartMN Think Tank

Last October, Morari was one of three startups featured at TCB’s pitch-style StartMN Think Tank event. While waiting for the FDA clearance, Bennett told the expert advisers he was working on distribution and marketing strategies for MOR and trying to strike the right tone around a sensitive topic like sexual health, while also driving product adoption and engagement.
“Our marketing will be playful, yet serious in tone,” Bennett said this week. He plans to start with e-commerce before pursuing retail store shelves. Customers interested in being part of MOR’s pilot launch can sign up for early access at www.morarimedical.com.
