Social Network: Robyn Frank
Business is personal for Robyn Frank, who created Thumbs Cookies from her mom’s recipe. Packaged in giftable boxes, Thumbs is sold at The Four Seasons Minneapolis, the Lora in Stillwater, and other hotels. Thumbs also offers local catering and client gifts. Frank recently launched a podcast with photographer Eliesa Johnson called The Sandwich Generation Pod to talk about the challenges of caring for small children and aging parents all while running a business. Here’s where Frank turns for escape and inspiration on Instagram.

Many follow the New York-based mini-cupcake tycoon for her adorable treats, but for Frank, it’s “her humor, her recipes, her eating on camera (I don’t know why I love it), and her ‘come as you are’ attitude to life and business.”

“I love a good home renovation Insta to follow. Lidia Valdivia is all about bringing the original charm back to old houses with color. Watching it makes me somehow feel productive, even though I’m not actually doing anything to my own house.”

“This gal is quirky, but she’s teaching me about brain health and making me laugh. I need both in my life!”
