Executives of health care technology and manufacturing companies were among the winners of 2025 Heartland Awards in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year competition.

The six Minnesota winners were honored during an EY gala held in June in downtown Minneapolis.

An independent panel of judges selected the EY Heartland winners. The award candidates were judged “based on their demonstration of long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth, and impact, among other core contributions and attributes.”

Judges for the 2025 EY Heartland competition were: Nicole Atchison, CEO, Puris; Brad Batz, CEO, Fike Corp.; Kristen Denzer, CEO, Tierra Encantada; Rita Katona, executive chair and chief brand and innovation officer, So Good So You; Christine Lantinen, CEO, Maud Borup; Ravi Norman, CEO, Sagiliti; Erin Pash, CEO, Pash Co.; Stephanie Rich, partner, platform at Bread and Butter Ventures; Paramita Sarkar, head of product strategy, ESG, insurance and annuities, fees, performance reporting and analytics, Ameriprise Financial Services; and Neal Sharma, president of alliance solutions, Dentsu.

The EY Heartland region encompasses several Midwestern states. In addition to six winners from Minnesota, EY judges also chose one winner from Iowa, two winners from Kansas, and two winners from Missouri.

Leaders from 11 other Minnesota companies were finalists for the EY regional award.
