2025 Minnesota Family Business Awards
Family-owned businesses produce numerous goods and services in Minnesota’s economy. In 2025, multiple winners of the five Minnesota Family Business Awards come from the service sector.
Mintahoe Events & Catering is a prominent caterer in the Twin Cities—providing food for special events that range from weddings to corporate events. Lorenz Bus Service, a longtime operator for charter and school transportation, also is a familiar transport provider for Minnesota State Fair patrons.
As Americans are living longer and the senior population grows, New Perspective is a major provider of senior living communities in Minnesota. Reflecting another demographic trend, Celarity, a staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm, is helping Minnesota employers navigate workforce shortages.
Groebner is a business that supports elements of the state’s infrastructure. Groebner distributes equipment and components to natural gas utilities and construction contractors.
This year’s five honorees and five finalists were evaluated on management, governance, organizational structure, transition plan, success, and other key factors.
