2023 Community Impact Awards
Mental health. Housing. Supporting refugees, diverse business founders, and people with high-risk pregnancies. Name the concern, and no doubt there’s an organization in Minnesota dedicated to providing support. This year’s Community Impact Award winners are helping to solve some of the most pressing challenges our fellow citizens face. Some have been on the case for many years; others are just getting started—taking innovative and entrepreneurial approaches to philanthropic endeavors. Our 10 honorees were chosen from dozens of nominations, which were reviewed by TCB’s editorial team with help from columnists Sarah Lutman and Stephanie Pierce. Fast-acting and determined, our honorees, both businesses and nonprofits, represent the possibility and promise that comes from mission-driven work.
On May 11, we formally honored these organizations at an event at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley.
