Saint Paul Port Authority Names Lee Krueger As CEO
The Saint Paul Port Authority named Lee Krueger as its new president and CEO.
Krueger currently serves as the Port Authority’s senior vice president of real estate and development. He replaces current CEO Louis Jambois, who announced his retirement in October. Krueger’s term begins March 1.
“I am honored to have the chance to build on Louis Jambois’ great legacy that has made an impact on the Port and Saint Paul,” Krueger said in a statement. “My vision is to help the Port continue to be an important partner in Saint Paul’s ongoing effort to create development that creates new tax base while supporting people and families who need to find good-paying, sustainable jobs.”
The Port Authority manages the four shipping terminals in the city and 21 business centers. Under Jambois’ supervision, the Port Authority has been involved in aggressive redevelopment efforts, including the downtown St. Paul Macy’s redevelopment and Minnesota United’s MLS stadium site at Snelling and University avenues.
Krueger has more than three decades of commercial real estate experience and once led commercial leasing for Emmes Realty Services.
