Polaris Rearranges Leadership Team
Polaris Inc. has reorganized its senior leadership team.
On Friday, the company announced that its president of off-road vehicles Chris Musso will move to a new role as senior VP of electrification strategy.
President of motorcycles Steven Menneto will take over Musso’s role as head of off-road vehicles. Meanwhile, international president Michael Dougherty will become president of motorcycles. He’ll retain his title as president of international.
All three leaders will report to Polaris chairman and CEO Scott Wine.
“Winning the competitive battle requires us to allocate and utilize our resources optimally, and that begins with placing our most seasoned and proven executives in roles where they can assume broader responsibilities and deliver greater impact,” Wine said in a news release.
Before joining Polaris in 2017, Musso was senior partner at management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. Prior to that, Musso was founder and principal engineer of Microcool Technologies, a small engineering and modeling consultancy.
Polaris reports that its international sales have grown to more than $800 million. The company now has established a presence in 13 countries.
