The Minnesota Business Hall of Fame™

The most prestigious business awards ceremony in Minnesota recognizes the accomplishments of five Minnesota executives who have made lifetime contributions to Minnesota business. Their stories are the centerpiece of our July issue. Inductees are also honored at a high-profile awards event held in late July with 450 guests. Since its inception, 77 people have been inducted into the Twin Cities Business Minnesota Business Hall of Fame.

Outstanding Directors™

The true champions of business working tirelessly behind the scenes, outside corporate directors often don’t receive the recognition they deserve for helping lead Minnesota companies. Over the years, Twin Cities Business has recognized 95 directors for their outstanding contributions to the companies they serve. Each year, nominations are sought in May and five winners are featured in the October issue, and celebrated at an awards dinner in late October.

This is a celebration of outstanding family-owned businesses and their value to Minnesota’s economy and overall quality of life. Honorees are featured in the November issue. Nominations are sought in May, and winners are celebrated at an awards dinner in November.

Small Business Success Stories™

Since we began this awards program, we have celebrated the accomplishments and milestones of 207 small businesses—the backbone of our state’s economy. Nominations are due in June and 10 winners are selected to be featured in the January issue. Winners are also celebrated at an awards dinner in January. Some 54 companies have been honored through this program.
