Hilton Pilot Program Offers Free Hotel Nights To Veterans Looking For Jobs
Veterans looking for work or attending job interviews away from home may now be eligible for up to three free nights at a Hilton hotel, under a pilot program announced today in Minneapolis.
Minnesota, Iowa, Texas and Arizona are the first states in the program.
Governor Mark Dayton attended the announcement this morning in Minneapolis and called it a great opportunity to help veterans find jobs:
“Our veterans deserve more than our gratitude and support. Through their service to our state and nation, they have earned every opportunity to find meaningful work,” Dayton said.
Under the program, veterans traveling to Minnesota, or to a different region within the state to search for employment or housing, can access free hotel nights through the Hilton HHonors program. Veterans should contact their local Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist (DVOP) to be enrolled in the program.
