HighJump Software to Buy TrueCommerce

HighJump Software said that the acquisition-of which the financial terms were not disclosed-will complement its current suite of supply-chain applications.

Eden Prairie-based HighJump Software, Inc., announced Monday that it has reached an agreement to acquire TrueCommerce, Inc., a Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania-based provider of data-transfer services.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

HighJump Software, which provides business-to-business services, said that TrueCommerce's solutions help connect 3,000 customers. TrueCommerce's services include data mapping software, products that aid businesses when transmitting documents, and more.

“Combining HighJump and TrueCommerce creates a unique and compelling solution offering within the supply-chain software market,” HighJump Software CEO Russell Fleischer said in a statement. “Our view is that supply-chain applications must allow users to connect with a broad ecosystem of trading partners to maximize value. The TrueCommerce solution platform and our previous move to cloud-based applications will help translate this vision into reality for our customers.”

HighJump Software said that the acquisition will complement its current suite of supply-chain applications, which encompasses warehouse management systems, route accounting systems, and transportation management systems, among other products.

HighJump Software has served more than 1,500 customers around the world in the distribution, food and beverage, retail, health care, and consumer goods industries.
