Global Call-Center Co. Adds 230 MN Jobs
APAC Customer Services, Inc., is hiring 230 employees, effective immediately, at its Mendota Heights facility to provide customer service and technical support via phone and online.
The Bannockburn, Illinois-based company—which provides sales support and solutions, customer care, technical support, and back-office services—maintains operations throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
The new Mendota Heights employees are being added to the existing 600 employees to provide outsourced services for an undisclosed “major retailer.”
An APAC Customer Services spokeswoman told Twin Cities Business that the positions will mainly consist of handling in-bound calls. She added that the decision to increase the number of employees at the company’s Mendota Heights location stemmed from currently successful operations and an interest in expanding to meet clients’ needs in the area.
“It's exciting to bring this number of high quality jobs to our local community,” General Manager of APAC Customer Services’ Mendota Heights location Colin Syme said in a statement. “The opportunity to grow our business in Mendota Heights demonstrates the excellent quality and superior service we deliver to our existing clients every day.”
The new full-time employees will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and medical benefits as well as retirement and saving options, the company said.
APAC Customer Services—a branch of Expert Global Solutions (EGS), which employs approximately 42,000 worldwide—serves clients in a variety of industries including finance, insurance, health care, retail, and technology. EGS spans 13 countries and consists of more than 100 call centers.
