CHS Taps Olivia Nelligan as CFO

She previously worked at food company Kerry Group for more than a decade.

Inver Grove Heights-based agribusiness coop CHS Inc. has named Olivia Nelligan executive VP and chief financial officer. She’ll start the position Jan. 29.

Nelligen is the founder and CEO of strategic advisory firm Inish Enterprises. Before that, she was CEO of Nasco LLC, which sells specialty products for education, health care, labs, and agriculture.

Prior to her time at Nasco, Nelligen worked at food company Kerry Group for 14 years.

Nelligen “brings an impressive record of executing and achieving financial results and leading organizations through transformation and growth,” said Jay Debertin, president and CEO of CHS, in a press release.

In fiscal-year 2019, CHS reported revenue of $31.9 billion, marking a small decline from $32.7 billion in the prior fiscal year. However, the company logged a FY19 net income of $829.9 million, up from $775.9 million in the prior fiscal year.
