Arts Picks: British Arrow Awards
They used to be called the British Advertising Awards—and, thankfully, that’s what they still are in substance, or as substantial as a celebration of advertising can be. At any rate, English advertising is more fun than ours, because it isn’t quite as intent on selling things as it is on making people laugh—or, in the case of those anti-drug PSAs, scaring kids to (avoid) death.
