More meetings. Bigger meetings. Longer meetings. That’s the 2020 outlook, according to the American Express Global Meetings and Events Forecast. The annual report also predicts that attendee experience is a rapidly growing priority—it’s no longer enough just to get people to your event or meeting; they have to enjoy it, too.

New to the guide this year is a section of convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs). In addition to the physical convention space that most CVBs have to offer, their teams can also provide additional resources needed to plan an event, like marketing services and materials, local connections, unbiased recommendations, and hotel reservations for out-of-town attendees.
