2019 Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards
EY annually recognizes CEOs and regional business leaders for their outstanding entrepreneurial accomplishments and major contributions to their communities.
Ten business innovators from six Minnesota companies were awarded the Entrepreneur Of The Year honor during a June 26 gala at the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis. Also receiving the award in EY’s Heartland region were four business leaders from three companies based in Missouri.
Executives from 16 Minnesota companies were finalists for the award, as were leaders from a business in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a company in Omaha, Neb.
Twin Cities Business profiles these accomplished business leaders in this issue, including an up-close look at the Minnesota winners who were interviewed by writer Julie Kendrick.
“Every year, we are impressed by the ingenuity, passion, and undying optimism exuded by the entrepreneurs we meet and honor through this awards program,” says Dominic Iannazzo, EY’s Heartland program co-director. “They don’t follow trends, they define them.”
The Heartland region winners will participate in EY’s national award competition. National winners will be announced at a November event in Palm Springs.
