Wells Fargo Hiring 90 for Local Mortgage Operations
Wells Fargo & Company on Tuesday said that it is set to hire 90 new employees in the Twin Cities. The company is searching for mortgage underwriters, loan processors, and loan closers.
San Francisco-based Wells Fargo said the demand for more employees stems from the increased number of homeowners applying to refinance their existing home loans.
This marks the second time this month that the company has announced a batch of hires-it recently added 174 new telephone banking customer service representatives at its Shoreview office. That hiring announcement came less than two weeks after reports surfaced that the company would lay off fewer than 150 employees from its local brokerage operations.
The most recent openings are full-time and offer numerous benefits, including medical, vision, dental, and tuition reimbursement, Wells Fargo said.
Candidates may apply in person at the Hilton near the Mall of America on Thursday, from 2 to 8 p.m., or online here.
Wells Fargo, which employs about 20,000 in Minnesota, is one of the state's largest employers.
