Taylor Communications To Acquire Staples Print Solutions

The companies already work together closely.

Mankato-based Taylor Corp. said Monday that it plans to acquire Staples Print Solutions, a division of office supply company Staples.
Taylor Communications, a marketing and graphics subsidiary of Taylor Corp. that was itself an acquisition in 2015, will acquire the company’s assets. The Print Solutions division of Staples creates forms, custom imprints, labels and design services to clients.
The acquisition is likely a good fit as Taylor Communications already provides services to Staple’s contract and retail business, Taylor Corp. CEO Deb Taylor said.
“Staples and our family of companies have been trusted partners for over 20 years,” Taylor said in a statement. “We are honored that Staples would look to Taylor Communications and entrust us to continue to provide service to their customers and employees.”
The transaction will be completed within a few months, but not specific timeline was laid out.
