RedBrick Health Adding 50 Employees in 2011
Minneapolis-based RedBrick Health Corporation is expanding its local employee base after its revenue nearly tripled in 2010.
Eric Zimmerman, RedBrick's chief marketing officer, told Twin Cities Business that the company is adding about 50 employees in 2011. The company went into the year with about 80 employees.
RedBrick Health-which sells its products to employers to provide health assessments, financing framework, and other services to employees-experienced organic growth over the last year.
Zimmerman wouldn't divulge specific numbers, but he did say that the company's revenue nearly tripled in 2010 and its number of clients doubled during the year. The company also acquired health technology start-up Social Kinetics in 2010 for an undisclosed sum.
A majority of the employees being added will be housed in the company's Minneapolis headquarters, with a few additions taking place at the company's three regional sales offices.
According to Zimmerman, employees are being added to every area of the company, including sales, account management, product management, software engineering, marketing, and professional services.
RedBrick was founded in 2006 and secured $15 million in equity financing in 2009.
Earlier this year, the company secured $5 million in financing and revealed plans to raise a total of $15 million, according to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
