Office Envy: Eight Moon
When Eight Moon owner, president, and creative director Megan Junius was designing the new office for her St. Paul creative design and marketing firm, she had one primary goal: make the office a creative haven. Formerly called Peter Hill Design, Junius rebranded the firm as Eight Moon in 2019, a nod to the final phase of the lunar cycle, which according to lore, is when human creativity is at its pinnacle. And since creative innovation has been the company’s core tenet since its 1994 founding, Junius decided it was time to have an office that reflected the brand, its work, and of course, its new name. Junius designed the space herself, with guidance from Shelly Peschel of Melody Hill Design. The 2,800-square-foot, light-washed space in the Vandalia Tower building merges industrial design with contemporary furnishings and pops of color. And the airy, open space promotes collaboration, says Junius. Plus, it’s situated in what’s called the Creative Enterprise Zone, a neighborhood between downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis established in 2013 as a place for artists, makers, and entrepreneurs to come together to create and innovate. The perfect place for more creative juices to flow.
