Melanie Vejdani, Hire a Host, Inc., for Nasty Naughty Boy Club
Best Use Of Entertainment And Best Social Event Planning: Budget $25,000+

A woman threw a lavish, Victoria’s-Secret-meets-Moulin-Rouge-style surprise party for her boyfriend’s 25th birthday. The planner created a private night club dubbed “Nasty Naughty Boy Club.” The venue was a 40-by-75-foot tent, and the decor included black draping, chandeliers, ice luges for the bar, red-velvet and leopard-print table linens, and lounges with sofas and chairs. The buffet featured “naked sushi”—two nearly naked women lying prone with sushi served on top of them. A custom three-layer cake featured a black corset design. Guests danced to a live disc jockey’s club mixes, and the client popped out of an eight-foot birthday cake and sang and danced for her boyfriend.
