Famous Dave’s Revamps Its Menu And Decor

The company hopes new additions to the menu and a bolder look will improve sales.

Famous Dave’s is trying out a saucy new look and revamping its menu in hopes of rekindling its popularity.

The Star Tribune reports that the Minnetonka-based barbeque restaurant chain is using bolder colors, changing up its Wilbur the pig logo and improving the takeout area.

The company is also adding several new items that founder Dave Anderson created while on Destination America’s reality show, “Smoked.” Among those items are boar sausage sliders and links, a “Zesty Pork Loin” and “Blue Ribbon Broccoli Salad.”

Late last year, TCB explored how the once-mighty company lost its spark and was attempting to revive itself by rethinking their menu and strategy. Around the same time, it was announced that charismatic founder Dave Anderson would be coming back to help improve the experience.
