Evereve Opening Mall of America Store

Evereve Opening Mall of America Store

The women’s apparel chain has been on a rapid growth streak over the past couple years.

In the last two years, mom-oriented fashion chain Evereve—formerly known as Hot Mama—has expanded faster than ever in its 13-year history.

The Edina-based retailer’s store count has jumped from 54 to 83 since the summer of 2015, with locations in 25 states. That total will hit 84 in October, Evereve said Tuesday, when it opens a new store at Mall of America.

The new location will be outfitted with all the denim, tops, pants, dresses, accessories and shoes featured at its other stores. The 2,200-square-foot space will be about the size of the Ridgedale Center location it opened last year, according to Mpls St. Paul Magazine.

“This new store will bring the Evereve fashion and styling experience to even more moms in Minnesota and visitors from all over the country,” Megan Tamte, cofounder and co-CEO of Evereve, said in a statement.

Evereve’s shop will be on the first floor of the Mall of America near Nordstrom. Its entry marks the second local apparel company this year to announce a store opening in the mega mall.

Mendota Heights-based athletic wear brand Juno Active opened its storefront this spring—its first brick-and-mortar location after years as an online-only retailer.

Evereve’s Mall of America spot is its 10th Twin Cities location. Laura Conlon, the chief marketing officer of Evereve, told Mpls St. Paul that the company plans on opening a total of 17 stores this year.

In its fiscal 2016 year, Evereve had an estimated $80 million in revenue.
