Ecolab Joins Ranks Of U.S. Bank Stadium Partners

Several high-profile companies have already struck agreements likely valued in the millions.

Ecolab announced on Thursday that it had struck a 10-year marketing deal with the Minnesota Vikings to become a partner at the new U.S. Bank Stadium.

The agreement provides St. Paul-based Ecolab with naming rights for the north entrance of the stadium. Additionally, the company’s services will be used to “ensure clean, efficient and sustainable operations.”

“For more than 90 years, Ecolab has been proud to call Minnesota home, and we understand the importance of supporting community initiatives throughout our great state,” Ecolab CEO Douglas Baker said in a statement. “We are proud of our partnership with the Vikings and this new facility that Minnesotans will enjoy for decades to come.”

Like the many other partnership the Vikings have forged concerning the new stadium, terms of the deal were not disclosed. But many believe they’re valued in the tens of millions.

Ecolab joins several other partners that have already signed on with the Vikings, including Pentair, Polaris, MillerCoors, Hy-Vee, Land O’Lakes and CenturyLink.
