The Walker Art Center’s newest exhibition features the work of 15 painters from the United States and Europe, all of whom share an interest in abstraction and eccentricity (making it a perfect show for the Walker). The other common note: a preference for art produced in studio, a space where the artist’s individuality and originality are re-energized.
