The spirit of modern dance’s über-mother lives on in her stellar dance company, which has continued to build on Graham’s legacy for the past 24 years. The new Northrop Auditorium was built precisely to showcase the artistry of companies like this. The two-night stand will include a version of the masterwork Panorama using 33 dancers from the U of M, as well as several Graham signature pieces, such as The Rite of Spring and Diversion of Angels.
