Art Picks: International Pop

Art Picks: International Pop

Having thoroughly explored the development of pop art in America and England from the 1950s to ’70, the Walker Art Center is now going international. Destined to be the Walker Art Center’s most popular show of the year, “International Pop” explores the evolution of the movement in such countries as France, Brazil, Japan and Germany, where the impulses and aesthetics manifested in many different ways, creating such obscure subgenres as neo-concretism, anti-art, and capitalist realism.
