VOTING HAS ENDED

For 11 years, Twin Cities Business has relied on our readers to recommend the top companies to do business with in Minnesota. Determined through an annual online reader poll, companies from a wide range of categories are deemed TCB’s Best of Business Readers’ Choice Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners, offering nothing less than outstanding products and services throughout Minnesota. The winners are revealed at an event in June (scroll down for photos of the 2025 event) and published in the June/July issue of Twin Cities Business.

HOW CAN YOUR COMPANY PARTICIPATE?

Cast your vote between January 20 and February 15—it only takes 5 minutes! After voting, share this page (tcbmag.com/votebestbiz) and inspire others to cast their votes too. The companies with the most votes will earn Gold, Silver, or Bronze in each category. The Best of Business Readers’ Choice awards are completely unbiased—businesses cannot pay to be included. Boost your chances of winning by spreading the word internally, on social media (check out the assets below), and with your customers. Rally everyone to vote and celebrate the standout businesses that make our community thrive. Have questions? Check out the FAQ section below.

FAQs

What sets this program apart? There are similar programs in the market that honor the best companies to work FOR. TCB’s Readers’ Choice Poll determines the best companies to work WITH. When it comes to B2B, reputation and relationships within the business community are crucial. Making the list labels a brand as a trusted partner in the business community.

Why isn’t X,Y,Z category on the ballot?  The categories for the 2026 Awards are set; we will not add any additional categories to the ballot this year. But if you have a suggestion, there is a field on the last page of the ballot for you to propose a category for 2027.

How can I nominate our company for the Best of Business Awards? There is no nomination phase for TCB’s Best of Business Readers’ Choice Awards. To be considered, simply ask others to vote for your company to increase your chances of winning. See the next FAQ regarding write-in votes if you do not see your company name in the dropdown menu.

Why isn’t XYZ company listed in the dropdown menu? The dropdown options were curated using a combination of voting data from prior years, publicly available business listings, and companies that have participated in or been recognized through TCB programs and awards. While we aim to include a broad and representative mix, it is not 100% comprehensive. If you don’t see the company listed that you want to vote for, use the write-in option (available on the “first choice” of every category), and your vote will be counted. Companies receiving statistically significant write-in votes will be added to the 2027 dropdown menu.

Can I request a specific styling for my company name (capitalization, punctuation, etc.)? TCB follows editorial style guidelines for company names and capitalization. While we do not accommodate stylistic preferences, we will correct factual errors. Please contact TCB’s marketing director for correction requests.

Why aren’t there categories like “Best Bar” or “Best Gym”? TCB focuses on businesses, services, and organizations that matter to the business community. Lifestyle favorites are covered by our sister publication, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine.
