With community needs at an all-time high and continued focus on building more equitable organizations and resources, Twin Cities Business is pleased to recognize nonprofits, for-profits, and corporate businesses whose work is moving the needle and making a significant difference in our state.
Honorees chosen by our selection committee are featured in the 2026 Oct/Nov issue of Twin Cities Business and will be honored at an event in November.

Category Descriptions
Nonprofit Awards
Nonprofit Leadership Excellence (Individual): An exceptional nonprofit organization CEO or executive director who has achieved impressive results in serving a target population.
Organization of the Year: A nonprofit that stands out for its service, impact, and outcomes.
Economic Empowerment: A nonprofit organization or program that’s shown substantial progress in helping a disadvantaged population become more financially secure.
Innovations in Philanthropy: A nonprofit that is putting forth new ideas or strategies thatrelate to the organization’s operations and execution of its mission.
Long Term Impact: Honoring a nonprofit for its enduring and effective work on behalf of the community.
Outstanding Collaboration: Recognizing a partnership between a nonprofit organization and a for-profit business whose collective work results in community change
Innovative Awareness Campaign: An advocacy campaign that raised awareness for a cause or issue in our community and demonstrated success in reaching its goal. (Submissions welcome from either the organization that ran the campaign or the creative agency that produced it.)
Corporate Awards
Corporate Leadership Excellence (Individual): A company C-suite executive who has shown exceptional support of the nonprofit community through individual, hands-on participation and actions, and leadership in encouraging employee involvement.
Corporate Social Responsibility: A business that is committed to doing well by doing good. This could include various methods from internal programs to volunteer and fundraising efforts to a mission focused on social impact.
Pro Bono Work: Recognizing a company that provides professional services to a nonprofit organization to help that group accomplish its mission.
Outstanding Collaboration: Recognizing a partnership between a nonprofit organization and a for-profit business whose collective work results in community change
