Shannon Smith Jones has been promoted to Chief Impact Officer at Greater Twin Cities United Way. Smith Jones joined the organization in 2023 as Senior Vice President of Community Impact and has helped lead the organization’s grantmaking, strategic community partnerships, advocacy, innovation, 211 resource helpline, and 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In her new role, she will continue leading and shaping impact strategy and community-centered work across the nine-county metro region.
