Andrea Mowery, principal at Mowery Communications, a public affairs and strategic management consulting firm, started a two-year term on July 1 as chair of the Hamline University Board of Trustees. Mowery joined the board in 2020.

Mowery is a former track and cross-country athlete at Hamline, where she majored in international studies and graduated with Latin and departmental honors. Prior to starting her consulting practice, she was vice president at ClearWay Minnesota.
