In 2021, 17 years after joining Minneapolis-based Winthrop & Weinstine, Tammera Diehm became the law firm’s first woman president. She’d built a successful practice concentrated on real estate transactions and was elected to the firm’s board of directors in 2018. A graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, Diehm also served 12 years on the Columbia Heights City Council. She continues to practice law, including advising clients on campaign finance law. In juggling her roles as attorney and president, Diehm says, “My ultimate goal is to find the right path forward, making it easier and more efficient to do business.”
