ACG Upper Midwest Capital Connection
The Minnesota Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth hosts this conference, attended by more than 500 corporations, private equity groups, attorneys, accountants and other financial experts. The Institute of Management Accountants’ annual gathering lands in Minneapolis this year, just in time to celebrate 95 years of balancing the books. ACG Golf Outing and Opening-Night Reception

Northern Spark Festival
Starting at precisely 9:01 in the evening, the Northern Spark Festival is an all-night art barnstorming experience, with attendees ranging from tattooed art students to classical music buffs. This year’s theme is “Projecting the City,” and artists from all genres—including interactive installations, video, spontaneous performances—will be on hand, challenging you to see Minneapolis through new eyes.
