Shaun Carlson draws on his more than 20 years of telecommunications experience to lead research and development, product development, process improvement, software development, and project management at Perham-based Arvig. In his 11 years with the company, he has played an integral role in streamlining the telecommunications company’s internal processes—a key contributor to Arvig doubling in size over the past decade. Recent contributions include the testing and launch of Arvig’s Wi-Fi 6 platform and deployment of an internal app to improve job tracking for Arvig’s construction division; in 2021, the app contributed to work being completed at 6% more sites and helped reduce service construction timelines by 41% on average. He served 25 years in the North Dakota Air National Guard.
