Lynn Farmer joined Twin Cities PBS (TPT) in January 2021, bringing with her 25 years of marketing, strategy, brand management, and audience development expertise, including 18 years at Target. Her goal at TPT is to reach younger and BIPOC audience members and innovate the organization’s marketing strategy to meet the needs of a media environment moving away from broadcast audiences to streaming and on-demand viewing. The approach focuses on creating opportunities for more sustained engagement and communication, including targeted community-oriented advertisements, a new digital marketing strategy, listening and talking directly with community members, convening events in BIPOC communities, and targeted newsletters. Outside of TPT, she serves on the board of Minnehaha Academy.
