As part of Thrivent’s ambition to become a leader in diversified financial services, the Minneapolis-based financial services organization made a strategic hire in December 2021, welcoming Carolyn Sakstrup as its chief growth and generosity officer. In her role, Sakstrup is responsible for the growth and transformation of the Thrivent brand through establishment and marketing of an integrated client experience, increased generosity offerings, and membership engagement. She joined Thrivent following 12 years at Target, where she led the corporation’s journey to becoming more guest-centric and established Target Circle.
