Code42 Opens Denver Office
Code42, a Minneapolis-based software company, is opening a new office in suburban Denver, the company said Thursday, in an effort to hire talent in other emerging tech hubs.
The outpost, located about halfway between Denver and Boulder in the city of Broomfield, will employ workers in product development, cloud operations, product management and engineering and finance.
Denver is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States, a hotbed of millennial migration and frequently cited as a booming technology city and “America’s next Silicon Valley” given San Francisco high cost of living.
“Code42 is brimming with talented people in Minneapolis, but in order to ensure that we have a deep talent pool to choose from, we are opening up offices around the world,” CEO Joe Payne said in a statement. “We’re particularly excited about our presence in the Denver area because the community is so rich with software expertise and technical talent.”
This will be Code42’s third office in the United States. In addition to the Minneapolis headquarters—which is moving from near St. Anthony Main to downtown Minneapolis in January—the company recently opened a San Francisco office. The company also has outposts in London and Munich.
