The Mall of America will soon be home to Capital One’s second bank-cafe hybrid in Minnesota. This summer, the bank will open a “Capital One Cafe” on level 1 south at the Mall of America.

The bank has been rolling out the cafes at dozens of cities across the country over the last few years. The cafes are aimed at providing a more modern banking experience, with a coffee bar and complimentary money coaching. Capital One opened its first Minnesota cafe in downtown St. Cloud.

At the cafe, Mall of America visitors will be able to access free Wi-Fi and power outlets, withdraw and deposit money at ATMs, get account assistance from in-person Capital One Ambassadors, and learn about new digital and financial tools. Peet’s Coffee and local snacks will also be provided.

The cafe will also offer Capital One’s “Money Coaching” program, which helps participants align their financial behaviors with long-term goals. Visitors are permitted to book up to three 1-hour sessions for free.

Capital One Cafes are open to all, not just Capital One customers. The bank currently operates more than 40 cafes across the country, according to a news release issued by the Mall of America.

Minnesota’s other Capital One Cafe is located at 30 7th Ave. S in downtown St. Cloud.
