Cambria’s Growing Mortgage Biz

Cambria Mortgage made more than $60 million in home loans in 2010.

Cambria, the LeSueur-based maker of quartz countertops, has a growing mortgage business. Cambria Mortgage made more than $60 million in home loans in 2010, and just opened a second office in Fargo, North Dakota, in February. Business comes through Cambria’s relationships with builders and realtors. Former TCF Bank executive John Schroeder leads Cambria’s Financial division, which hosts the mortgage brokerage. “Our long-term plans would be to add mortgage offices in Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota,” and neighboring states, Schroeder says.
