Arts Picks: “Hopper Drawing, A Painter’s Process”

At the Walker Art Center

This exhibition, organized by the Whitney Museum of American Art, is the first major exhibit ever to focus on American painter Edward Hopper’s artistic process. Featuring dozens of drawings, many paired with the paintings they eventually became, the show provides unique insights into Hopper’s work, particularly his skill as a draftsman and his attention to seemingly mundane but telling details.
