Sally Mueller spent the first 25 years of her career at Target, much of it overseeing attention-getting designer collabs with the Zac Posens and Victoria Beckhams of the world. “So much fun,” she says about jetsetting to Paris and London. “But something was missing.” She’s since figured out she was in perimenopause—or what she now describes as the commencement of her “no bullshit era.” After an executive physical at the Mayo Clinic, she was sent home with a dated brochure. She vowed to “disrupt this space.” In 2021, she launched Womaness, a comprehensive women’s health menopause company, offering a line of products addressing everything from dry skin to sexual wellness. In 2026, she expects “menopositivity” to go mainstream: “Women are demanding better solutions, better science, and better conversations.”
