If you’re trying to build a startup in the Twin Cities, it won’t be long before you run into Reed Robinson. He co-founded Beta.MN, which he ran in his spare time for its first four years. The nonprofit dedicates itself to helping entrepreneurs accelerate growth. Beta.MN has worked with 152 companies that have raised about $300 million in financing. The organization is working to hire a new executive director, but Robinson plays to stay on the board and remain involved. Wherever he lands next, expect him to remain a key player in Minnesota’s entrepreneurial economy.
