Baxter's interest in agriculture fuled his move from Kamaica to the United States, where he eventually settled in Minnesota and founded Cut Fruit Express in 1988. The fresh fruit and vegetable supplier buys produce from farmers nationally and internationally, then sels it to retailers and distributors. Baxter, who has been a speaker at the Nobel Peace Prize Forum, offers financial assistance to his 60-plus emloyees for buying a house and for postsecondary education.
