After serving 19 years on the University of St. Thomas faculty, Laura Dunham was selected in May to become dean of the Opus College of Business. For the past five years, she was the associate dean of the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship. Dunham, who earned an MBA and doctorate from the University of Virginia, says one of her goals is making St. Thomas a top 10 Catholic business school. She says there's no way to solve tough community problems “without businesses getting involved and starting to measure social good as seriously as they measure economic good that they create."
