Jake Holdreith joined Robins Kaplan 24 years ago and leads its health and life sciences industry group. In March, he was chosen to become managing partner of the law firm’s Minneapolis office. “Excellence attracts excellence, and that’s true of both clients and our lawyers,” Holdreith says. The firm continues to grow, he notes, because its attorneys get results and solve business problems for clients—inside or outside the courtroom. Intellectual property litigation is increasing in life sciences, high technology, and artificial intelligence. Another big legal issue, he says, is “restructuring of the global market for drug development, manufacturing, and distribution.”
