At the core of Juut’s new salon artist initiative is Coco Wagner, its newly minted vice president. The highly competitive program, which trains about 45 artists a year, is among Wagner’s many responsibilities; she says that making the recruitment process a positive experience for candidates has been her “bread and butter” at the salon and spa company. “We’ve been able to really become the employer of choice for students in the metro area, and a lot of that has to do with how we recruit them,” Wagner says.
