Ann Anaya served as an assistant U.S. attorney for 11 years before joining 3M in 2013. As a change agent, she takes the following approach to make progress on diversity: “Question the status quo with a growth mindset, listen with empathy, and give people something they can do to be a part of and invest in positive change.” Beyond achieving specific diversity, equity, and inclusion goals in 2022, Anaya is committed to inspiring an advocacy movement within 3M. For employees, she says, she wants to create “a stronger sense of belonging by building inclusive habits, candid conversations, and disrupting bias.”
