Victoria Gonzalez Rocha moved from Mexico City to Minnesota in 1999 to help her brother, Manny, run a gourmet Mexican sandwich shop, Manny’s Tortas, on Lake Street in the Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis. With more than 40 years of business experience, Gonzalez Rocha is credited as a mastermind behind the restaurant’s success. The restaurant has flourished over the past 25 years, winning numerous awards and becoming a staple at the Minnesota State Fair for the past 14 years. In 2023, she spearheaded a new venture, Emprende con Victoria, Tu Camino Hacia el Éxito, which translates to Entrepreneurship with Victoria, Your Path to Success. Through weekly sessions, aspiring entrepreneurs gain insights into entrepreneurship, leadership, and business strategies, with a focus on turning ideas into successful ventures.
