A litigator with a Ph.D. from M.I.T., Sharon Roberg-Perez leverages her knowledge of molecular biology when working on IP disputes between biotech, medical devices, and other life sciences companies. Roberg-Perez's years spent working as a research scientist help her to explain complicated concepts to varied audiences. She represents clients of all sizes, ranging from startups to large medical device manufacturers. Roberg-Perez has served as trial counsel in hard-fought, multimillion-dollar patent cases; she’s also handled cases involving genotyping and DNA fingerprinting. Her nonprofit and pro bono work focuses on science and health, including a board position with the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota. She has  served as co-counsel with Lambda Legal and Gender Justice to represent incarcerated transgender individuals.
