Growing up on a farm in southeastern Minnesota helped Sharon Olson develop strong work principles and resilience, skills that she funneled into founding Bloomington-based Olson Wealth Group in 1994. Olson is an expert in wealth, retirement, estate, investment, and business succession planning, emphasizing smart strategies and solid values. Her skill set, combined with client-centric insight, has allowed the firm to persevere through recent market challenges, with nearly 100% retention of firm clients and a 10% increase in new assets. A tireless advocate for women, Olson has made it her mission to hire, support, and promote women to leadership roles. She is a member of the Women Presidents Organization, Young Presidents’ Organization, a board emeritus for the Ann Bancroft Foundation, and an advisor for Wings for Widows.
