As the deputy general counsel at Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank, Sara Stenberg oversees a team of 29 professionals. She provides legal support to the bank’s corporate and commercial banking division as well as commercial lending in the consumer and business banking division. Known for her welcoming and open leadership style, Stenberg plays a key role in advancing U.S. Bank’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Within the legal profession, she has advocated for an expanded intern/extern/fellows program for historically underrepresented law students. She’s committed many years to the board of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice.
